1. Initial Consultation

Discuss the client's needs, style preferences, and budget.

2. Site Meeting

Assess the space and take measurements.

3. Space Planning

Develop floor plans and layout options.
Ensure functionality and flow within the space.

4. Design Development

Create lookbook/ 3D renders and design concepts.
Finalize color schemes and design elements.
Select materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories.
Present initial ideas and receive feedback from clients.

5. Costing and Quotation

Generate a line by line costing for the project.
Discuss and finalise quotation with client.

6. Sourcing and Manufacturing

Order furniture, materials, and accessories, once deposit is received
Coordinate with factory & suppliers.

7. Installation

Oversee the installation of all design elements.
Manage contractors and ensure quality control.

8. Client Review and Handover

Address any last-minute adjustments or concerns.

Blake Matthew started his career in Interior Design in 2005. Over the years he has consulted with private, corporate, and leisure clients, both locally and internationally, resulting in some breathtaking living, working, and leisure spaces. In 2016, Blake teamed up with Ruan Swart, who has a financial, operational, and design background, and redefined Blake Matthew Interiors to Blake Matthew Design (Pty) Ltd. A full Turn-key Design Brand.

With a network of suppliers and bespoke service providers, we offer a full turn-key solution for all your interior space design, landscaping, and furniture needs. As well as design solutions, Blake Matthew Design offers made to measure curtains, furniture, and soft furnishings.
